Recognition: 2009

Marinda Klaver

Marinda, I believe your story underlines the fact that "we can as woman, when everyone says we can't"

If we learn to trust our intuition, we'll be fine......

What I learn from your story is "first independance before meaningful inter-dependance" in life, and that each of us have our own truths, but the Truth sets free.....

Thank you for sharing your life with us, and it was such a priveledge to meet you in Baberton, the night we gave you recognition for being such an inspiration.

Thank you for being you.....>>

Marita Momberg - A Tribute

Marita Momberg & Sonja Herholdt

I had the honour to give recognition to a very special person in Potchefstroom on the 29th of July when I presented my programme in Potchefstroom.

She contracted cancer at the young age of 19 and since then it has been a battle for life.....

She has learnt to live in the paradox and appreciate every day given to her to enjoy her loved ones and friends - something few of us know and can appreciate.....

Her daughter Melodi contacted me yesterday and informed me that her mom passed away on the 22nd of November at 22h00, whilst in hospital for tests awaiting a heart transplant. She died quietly and peacefully.

I gave recognition to a fenominal lady. She is loved, because I believe, she's such a giver.....

She wrote her story for you to read and for you to see " that what matters in life is not that life knocks you down - but what matters is - when life has knocked you down - and it is so very hard to get up - you get up!

This is her life story in her own words. . .

Cynthia Terblanche

During a recent programme in Polokwane it was my privilege to give recognition to an emotional very strong Lady!

The manner in which she handled her very difficult circumstances, is really an inspiring story that gives hope.

Barbara Oberholzer

I gave this unique woman - who just does not allow life to get the better of her - recognition when I presented my programme at the yearly congress of the VLU in Bloemfontein in August.

As you read her story she sent me, you will see why this woman is just such an inspiration to me and many others.

Johanna van Daalen

I gave this very special lady recognition in Orkney.

One could see that she is loved and leaned upon and respected for the person she is.

She is small but tough....... and as I called her on stage I thought ...." DINAMITE COMES IN LITTLE BOXES"

Here she shares her story in her own words:

Liesbet Machts

I met this fenominal woman in Rawsonville on a very cold wet evening in June, sitting in her wheelchair with a beautiful smile.

When I gave her recognition for the amazing manner in which she handled all the obstacles in her life. .

Marie de Beer

I met an amazing, strong, positive woman who I gave recognition to with my show in Garsfontein.

She tells her story in her own unique way. She made a lasting impression with her positive energy and presence that touches your heart.

Thank you Marié for the privileged of sharing your story to inspire others.

Petro Spies

I met this very inspiring lady at Woodlands in Pretoria where I presented my programme. I gave her recognition for being this positive hopeful woman that just does not give up...

Ten years ago she was suddendly diagnosed with "neukardites" - an illnes where every muscle in your body is basicly "lame" and you cannot do anything for yourself.

Louise Edwards

I was so priveledged to meet this wonderful strong lady and to be able to give her recognition for living such an example.

She lost her husband and soulmate after a long struggle with his health - both of them believing for a miracle.

The way she handled the tough times and the life without her life long partner at the moment is admirable.
