That was Ayoba!

Congratulations South Africa for successfully hosting the world cup 2010.
Lots of people were negative, but I believe it was the Lords grace that pulled us through, and created the positive nation building experience. 

During June and July we completed the last two music videos of my new album "Pêrels". The two new videos is now also available on YouTube here: "Ons vlieg saam" and "Soen my vandag". I am very happy with the final result and think all the videos is a good reflection of  Sonja Herholdt in 2010.

I am also pleased to announce that I was invited to perform at the "Huisgenootskouspel" concert at Sun City later this year. I will also be part of the "Rapport C sokkie cruise on the Sinfonia from 26 - 29 November.

I also updated the gallery section and added a folder with some pictures of my experience on the set of the movie. Apart from the YouTube clips I have also not seen any footage from the movie and are quite nervous to see myself on the big screen. The premiere will be on 10 November 2010.

My programme is quite busy the rest of the year presenting my music-motivational programme. We have now upgraded the programme to present it as  a multimedia experience, (In venues where it is technically possible)

I want to end with a quote from Nelson Mandela who said: "When you are knocked down, be sure to land on your back, because if you can look up, you can get up"
