Rapport Hope for Haiti Concert

It was a privilege to be part of this very special concert. The idea started with the singer Cheree, she sent out a e-mail to Rapport, and one week later no viewer than 2000 people were in the audience in the big top arena of Carnival City.

40 Artists performed free of charge, Carnival City donated the venue, gear house the sound and computicket did not ask any commission on ticket sales. Rapport and various other radio stations sponsored the marketing.

During the concert I once again realized the huge amount of awesome talent we have in our country, most of them do their thing without ego or a big fuzz. I consider myself honored to share the stage with them.

The show started with video images of the devastation in Haiti, my heart go out to all the people suffering. It is my pair that the Lord will make a way in their dire situation, and that the people in Haiti will know His grace.

My new Album Pêrels,

My new album is now in the final production phase, the deadline is 20 Feb to deliver the final product. The album should be available towards the middle of March. I performed one of the new songs, "Soen my vandag" at the Haiti concert and are glad that it was well received. I also performed this song at the recording of the kykNET programme "Dis hoe dit is met Steve" on Friday 5 February. I will post the broadcasting date on my web as soon as I receive it.

During February I will once again start with my music motivationalprogrames, this is my passion and it helps me not to laps into negativity, I believe hope is a choice, we must just do it!!
